Raul Barbieri, Milanese architect and designer, got his degree in Architecture at Milan's Polytechnic and while at university he collaborated with the Olivetti design consulting studio, directed by Ettore Sottsass Jr. Here he met Giorgio Marianelli ,with whom he opened a studio together in Milan, dealing in architecture and industrial design.

In 1989 he founded his own studio in Milan, specialized in design, corporate identity and architectural planning.

His interests for the world of furniture brings to life collaboration with prestigious companies and many of his designs have been awarded.
