Giotto Stoppino

Giotto Stoppino, Italian architect and designer, is known for being among the first designers to use plastic in his projects.

In 1968 he opened his own studio and devoted himself mainly to design, collaborating with some of the most important Italian furniture brands.

He took part in numerous editions of the Milan Triennale obtaining in 1964 the “Gran Premio Internazionale”. He won the “Compasso d'Oro” three times and since 1970 he has been present in the permanent collection of the MoMA.
